I stopped replacing things that still worked, and suddenly I could breathe.
For the first time, nothing in my house was pending. Nothing was halfway to being swapped out.
No upgrade sitting open in a tab, quietly telling me what I have isn't finished yet.
Turns out that was the noise. Not the stuff. The waiting to replace the stuff.
